Signs of Spring

We had a LOVELY sunny day here in Ontario- sure it only got up to about 10 degrees Celsius, but given recent ice storms and clouds- 10 degrees in the sun felt positively tropical.  Of course I was out with my camera and my new lens looking for signs of spring

birds nestMy new Sigma 70-200 2.8mm is so crystal clear that I can crop the final image without losing sharpness.  Of course, I still want to keep trying to get in closer, and be more patient…. and I still dream of a zoomier lens in my future!! BUT… LOVING this lens.
